Patrice Evra believes Manchester United fan Cole Palmer should be at Old Trafford

Patrice Evra joked that Chelsea star Cole Palmer ‘let Manchester United down’ by joining Manchester City.

The 20-year-old came through Manchester City’s youth system before joining Chelsea in a £42.5 million move.

Despite growing up as a Manchester United fan and originating from Red hotspot Wythenshawe.

The winger has ha a fantastic start to life at Stamford Bridge, and he extended his excellent form with a fantastic goal against Manchester United on Wednesday.

After United’s 2-1 victory over the Blues, Evra quipped that he needed to talk to Palmer’s parents about his decision to join City.

‘He grew up a Manchester United supporter, and you end up playing for City and scoring a goal against United? He can’t be a true fan.’

Palmer has been one of Chelsea’s few bright spots this season.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford, a game that United might and should have won by a much larger margin.
