Manchester City came from behind to beat Luton Town 2-1 in the Premier League, snapping a four-match losing streak.
Ederson – 7: City got out of difficulty early on thanks to a crisp turn, and his distribution was on point to keep cutting through the Luton lines.
Walker – 6: Struggled to be successful in aiding the attack, but held his cool when Luton attacked in the second half.
Dias – 6: When he found himself in Haaland territory, he hit the bar and will be frustrated that another clean sheet was lost.
Ake – 8: City’s most composed defender was cool in possession all over the field, assisting them in maintaining control.
Gvardiol – 7: Even though he is playing an unfamiliar position, he has had success bombing down the left wing.
Rodri – 8: A couple blunders and a booking, but enough tackles and sprints to demonstrate how much City misses him when he’s not there.
Silva – 7: Improved in the second half to reintroduce City into the game and then took over from there.
Kovacic – 6: For much of the game, he appeared rusty and out of touch, but he became more at ease once City took the lead.
Foden – 7: Bright from the start, making numerous rushes in behind Alvarez and putting Kaminski to the test. A critical component of the second objective.
Grealish – 7: I didn’t do enough in the first half to challenge the Luton defense, but the winner altered everything.
Alvarez – 7: As the No.9, he seemed happier than he has in a long time, and he set up Grealish in a good all-round effort.
