After Erik ten Hag kept Sancho off the first team in September, United is willing to let him go in the next window.

Following United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal, Ten Hag openly criticized Sancho, alleging that the winger’s lackluster effort levels during practice resulted in his removal from the squad.

On social media, Sancho immediately responded to Ten Hag, accusing the United manager of using him as a “scapegoat” for the team’s loss to Mikel Arteta’s group.

The £73 million acquisition by United from Borussia Dortmund has been told to practice apart from the first squad, and it looks as though Ten Hag will no longer be managing the team.

This week, allegations emerged from Spain claiming that United had extended an offer to Barcelona for Sancho in exchange for Raphinha moving the other way to Old Trafford.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has “ruled out” the possibility of signing Sancho since they have other plans for the United winger.

According to the report, Raphinha is deemed “untouchable” during the January transfer window and would only contemplate a summer sale if they were to receive a substantial number of money for the Brazil international.

Raphinha, who left Leeds United for Barcelona in a £55 million transfer last year, has made 65 appearances for the Spanish champions, tallying 12 goals and 17 assists.
