Inside the Extravagant £50 Million Yacht on Which Jay Z and Beyoncé Relaxed During Their Luxurious Vacation

According to recent rumors, Nigerian energy magnate Kola Aluko is the supposed owner of the ultra-luxurious yacht Galactica Star, which was recently rented for a holiday by Jay Z and Beyoncé.

The luxurious yacht is 65 meters long, costs £50 million (€65 million, $73 million), and can achieve speeds of up to 28 knots (32 mph) when conditions are ideal. The vessel is also extremely fuel-efficient due to its revolutionary hull construction. In comparison to similar-sized boats, it uses up to 30% less power to maintain the same speed as it would otherwise.

The Galactica Star can seat up to 12 guests at a time, thanks to its full-beam master bedroom, upper-deck VIP cabin, and four more double cabins. In addition, there is a “beach club” with a helipad, a 10-square-meter balcony, and plenty of space for entertaining visitors.

There have been claims that the yacht may be chartered for $900,000 per week (or £580,000), however it is much more exclusive: You must also be acquainted with the owner in order to stay on the yacht.

This is how it seems.

The Galactica Star, which made its debut in 2014, received a Neptune Award at an event termed “the Oscars of the super-yacht industry.”

The interior was designed by Bannenberg and Rowell Design, one of the most famous names in yacht design. The interior is designed to mirror the hull’s sleek, metallic appearance.

The Galactica Star is 213 feet (65 meters) long and 37 feet (11.3 meters) wide.

The boat has everything you might possible need at sea, appealing especially to warmer locations where passengers may relax in the sun.

The Galactica Star can land and store a helicopter, making it easy to get to and from the beach.

The Star can sleep 12 people, but it can also accommodate many more across numerous levels with various seating spaces. Guests can be served by qualified workers who reside onboard.

Despite weighing roughly 560 tons (with a 50% load), the Star can cruise at up to 28 knots (32 mph), making it one of the quickest boats in its class.

The upper deck has a Jacuzzi, a bar, a big lounge area, an observation platform, and towels with Galactica Star embroidery.

While the Star is huge, it is also visually appealing, with soaring curves crafted from an all-aluminum alloy.

In addition to visitors, the boat can accommodate personnel and has a specialized galley for making food for people onboard.

The control room is state-of-the-art, with enormous touch-screen screens allowing the yacht to go over 4,500 nautical miles on a single tank of fuel.

The Star has a 64-square-meter “living deck” in the front (which also acts as a helipad) and an additional 80 square meters on the lower aft deck when the tenders are moved to the front garage.

The ship is attractively lit at night and is an excellent venue for events.

The modern and forward-thinking design makes extensive use of glass, which serves to keep the area light and airy.

At £50 million (€65 million, $73 million), the Galactica Star is almost the same price as a huge residence.
