Reece James could be out for a long time due to hamstring injury

Reece James, the captain of the Blues and a man who has suffered injuries all of his career, had to leave the game early in the Premier League’s 2-0 loss to Everton this past weekend.

This week, the team revealed that the 24-year-old defender will now miss more time due to injury.

James will now finish a rehabilitation program at Cobham after scan findings revealed a new hamstring issue, as disclosed by Chelsea on their official website.

Update from source close to Chelsea

One person with knowledge of Chelsea has informed The Athletic that James will have a difficult time getting back to full health before the season ends in late May.

Everyone at Stamford Bridge should be extremely concerned about this revelation if the confidential club source is accurate.

Though it’s difficult to argue against the all-action right-back when he’s well and playing well, he can’t seem to overcome these persistent injury setbacks.

This season, he has only participated in nine games across all competitions. Hopefully, this isn’t his last game.

It’s important to note that Malo Gusto, a 20-year-old right-back, was signed by the team as actual cover at right-back for this reason. Hopefully, Gusto can recover from his own physical issues soon.

Reece James injury

Yesterday, James posted a message to Instagram with the words “devastated.” Positive remarks were sent to him in the comment section from players from Real Madrid, like Jude Bellingham and Antonio Rudiger.

The English celebrity must now endure yet another taxing recuperation procedure, which we imagine might occasionally be a lonely one.

Hopefully, this isn’t the end of a lengthy series of injuries and the full-back isn’t rushed back.

The remainder of the team has a significant responsibility to improve matters on the field in the interim. Right now, Mauricio Pochettino’s team is struggling.
