Reece James experienced another hamstring injury earlier in the season and is anticipated to be out for 2-3 months following MRI examinations.

The 24-year-old suffered the injury in Everton’s 2-0 defeat and was replaced earlier, in the 27th minute, while gripping his hamstring. It’s been a tragedy for a guy who has been plagued by ailments since last season.

James will need to reevaluate his routine because both injuries are serious and will keep him out for an extended period of time, which is not healthy for such a young talent.

James will now begin his rehabilitation at Cobham, and the right-back is expected to visit a specialist for his hamstring issue. Following his MRI exam, the Chelsea website issued the following statement:

“Captain Reece James has undergone a medical assessment… The defender was withdrawn during the first half at Goodison Park, and scan results have confirmed a hamstring injury. Reece will now begin his rehabilitation programme at Cobham.”

Reece James forced off in front of England boss Southgate as injury hell continues and fans say 'I feel so bad for him' | The Sun

It’s terrible that such a talented right-back has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. He is only 24 years old, which is quite unfortunate for him. The club should investigate this because we have seen many such incidents with other players who are prone to injury and are forced to retire. Recurrent injuries are also bad for him. Being injured and unable to do what you love has a negative impact on your mental health.

It is terrible for a player to be out for two or three months. James may need to change his lifestyle or diet in order to avoid long-term injuries, as these factors are equally important in avoiding such long-term ailments.
