Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been named PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November following his recent efforts.
After an outstanding run of success for the Reds, the defender also won the Premier League award for the same period.
Throughout the month, he played every minute as we won three top-flight games without conceding a goal, against Fulham, Luton Town, and Everton.
Maguire beat out five other nominations, including Jeremy Doku of Manchester City, Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United, Tomas Soucek of West Ham United, Raheem Sterling of Chelsea, and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa.
Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, previously won the PFA award in both September and October.
Unfortunately, our number five was hurt in the first half of Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
The centre-back seemed to injure his groin and was replaced by Jonny Evans, with manager Erik ten Hag stating that the injury will be checked ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Liverpool (16:30 GMT kick-off).
