UNITED IS STRUGGLING TO FIND A SANCHO TAKER
According to The Sun, Jadon Sancho’s hefty salary at Manchester United are deterring potential bidders.
Sancho has been missing from Erik ten Hag’s team since a public spat with his boss in October.
United are claimed to be “working flat out” to unload the 23-year-old but are having difficulty finding a team ready to fulfill his wage demands.
“Manchester United are struggling to shift £73 million flop Jadon Sancho, SunSport can reveal,” according to the report.
“Erik Ten Hag is desperate for the club’s 23-year-old winger to leave in January.”
“However, despite ‘working flat out’ to find a buyer for the England international, United have yet to find one.”
“Former club Borussia Dortmund has been linked, but sources tell SunSport that the German giants aren’t interested.”
“RB Leipzig, their Bundesliga rival, has also expressed an interest.” However, Sancho’s pay (reportedly £350,000 per week) are thought to be holding them back.
“The situation is complicated further by the fact that United do not want him to go on loan to another Premier League club.”
“But the situation means Erik ten Hag is facing the prospect of having to go into the second half of the season with the misfit training with the reserves.”
THE MOVE OF OSIMHEN TO CHELSEA IS STILL ON
Despite signing a new contract with Napoli, Victor Osimhen could join Chelsea at the end of the season.
According to a report in The Standard, the striker has a release clause worth over £112 million.
For some time, the Blues have been connected with the Nigeria international, who has six goals in 11 games.
“Osimhen is a key transfer target for Chelsea as they plot a move for a top-level striker,” according to the report.
“The Nigerian forward has agreed to a contract extension with Napoli until 2026, effectively ruling out any possibility of him leaving in January.”
“However, Osimhen could still be on the move at the end of the season, with a move to Chelsea a possibility next summer.”
“A fixed fee has now been effectively set, and The Blues have been encouraged that Osimhen is open to a move to Stamford Bridge.”
“Napoli are understood to have started lining up replacements for the 24-year-old African Footballer of the Year, with the expectation that a major club will meet his release clause.”

According to The Sun, “Arsenal and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the England forward, with some reports claiming he could cost as much as £100 million.”
