The representative of a high-profile Manchester United player has offered him to PSG, though rumors suggest Erik ten Hag is open to a big-money exit.

Man United have had a horrible opening four months of the season, having lost 12 of their 24 matches across all competitions.

The most recent defeat came at the hands of Bayern Munich, who eliminated United from European contention after finishing bottom of Group A in the Champions League.

Ten Hag’s squad is already out of the League Cup and six points below fourth place in the Premier League. On Sunday, United will go to Anfield, where they have lost their last two games by an aggregate score of 11-0.

The January transfer window is a frequent approach to breathe new life into an ailing season.

According to the Independent, Manchester United hope to add a center-back and a central midfielder next month. However, given the club’s limited transfer budget, player sales will be necessary if United is to recruit a high-caliber player.

According to the publication, “Casemiro was recently offered to the capital club,” and the door for his spectacular move is “wide open.”

Casemiro was offered to PSG by his representatives, not Manchester United, according to Le10Sport. Nonetheless, with reliable sites such as the Guardian and Independent reporting that Casemiro is for sale, any appropriate bid appears likely to be accepted by United.

Man United paid Real Madrid £60m plus add-ons to sign the Brazilian in 2022. With United now 31 years old, it comes to reason that they would struggle to return their investment.

Nonetheless, Casemiro shown last season that he can still function at an elite level, despite hints of deterioration prior to his hamstring injury this season.

Le10Sport does not predict whether PSG will make a move for Casemiro. If they don’t, it’s possible that Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr will.

If that path is taken, a reunion with a certain Cristiano Ronaldo awaits. Between 2014 and 2018, the duo was vital in Real Madrid winning four UCL titles in five years. Casemiro and Ronaldo also played together briefly at Manchester United during the first half of the 2022/23 season.

If Casemiro is sacked at Old Trafford in January, the Independent claims Ten Hag will look for a slightly different type of midfielder to replace him.
