Liverpool already in talks with the dribble-happy Nice midfielder

Liverpool fell to Union SG in their final Europa League group game Sunday, but they had already secured first place.

The Reds will find out who they will play in the first knockout round of the competition next week.

In terms of transfers, the Merseysiders have been highly linked with Les Bleus midfielder Khephren Thuram.

Liverpool are already in talks with Nice and the player’s representation to win his signature, according to Calcio Mercato.

According to the Italian media site, the Ligue 1 club is willing to transfer their prized asset, and Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in hiring the 22-year-old.

Another Italian source, Tutto Juve, has reported that the aforementioned Premier League clubs are interested in Thuram and can afford to pay more than Juventus to bring him in.

The French international has more than two years left on his contract with Nice, and according to a report published earlier this month by Corriere Torino, he is worth over 40 million euros (£34.4 million).

After 15 league games, Le Gym has 32 points and is only four points behind leaders and champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Liverpool, on the other hand, is leading the Premier League and has a good chance of winning the title this season.

Thuram must step up and make a significant career move sooner rather than later. Would the £34.4 million-rated star wind up joining the Reds? The only way to know is to wait and see.
