Trent Alexander-Arnold join investors into Alpine’s F1 team with Rory McIlroy, Anthony Joshua

Despite a dismal season for the Alpine Formula One team, high-profile athletes continued to support the French outfit.

Alpine and the team’s backers, Otro Capital, announced this week that Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, and four-time golf major championship winner Rory McIlroy are among the newest names to invest.

They were joined by Juan Mata, who led Spain to World Cup success in 2010, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs, and Miami Marlins and Real Salt Lake investor Roger Ehrenberg.
