Erik ten Hag points out Kobbie Mainoo’s ‘biggest quality’ after classy Liverpool performance

Anfield saw Manchester United and Liverpool draw 0-0, which was a respectable outcome for the Red Devils.

Erik ten Hag doesn’t really care about the quality of the game; what counts to him is that his team managed to earn a point at what is possibly the most difficult location in the Premier League.

Kobbie Mainoo was one player who, despite his youth, exuded quality once more. The manager of the 18-year-old recognized his brilliance at full time.

The fact that there weren’t many opportunities on the evening had to be Manchester United’s complaint.

This was always going to be the situation at Liverpool, and a lot of it had to do with not being able to maintain composure during the game. But Mainoo is unconcerned about this. It’s just amazing how rarely he gives up the ball, even at his age.
