Following his performance at Anfield against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay received feedback from Roy Keane.

The Red Devils’ captain was Scott McTominay. In a 4-2-3-1 formation, the Scotland international began play as the focal point of a three-man attacking midfield.

After winning the toss, McTominay instructed Liverpool to launch an early attack on the Kop. The midfielder had great intelligence, and Roy Keane, the legend of United, was impressed.

Although the midfielder was not very good, he was effective in his role. McTominay was a dedicated worker who took joy in wearing the captain’s armband.

Keane said about McTominay on Sky Sports Premier League: “He has done well. He made a good start by winning the toss.

“I think that was a very good move, very smart of him. He has had his critics, and the whole team have had their critics, but we have to give them credit today.”

Under manager Erik ten Hag, McTominay did not seem to have much of a future at United, but things have since changed.

Ten Has’ opinion of the Scotland international has totally evolved. The 27-year-old has now made a name for himself in the United midfield as one of the key players.

A dull player, McTominay is not. He is a dedicated football player who is very honest and always gives it his all.

The Scotland international is a vital player for United right now, even though I don’t think he is or will ever be world class. Every time he steps onto the pitch, supporters can count on him to give it his best.
