Victor Oladipo, the NBA shooting guard, has sold his modern Miami Beach property for $9 million. This seven-bedroom estate sits on Hibiscus Island, a prominent guard-gated community in Biscayne Bay that is only accessible via the MacArthur Causeway. The sale is the island’s highest non-waterfront sale, demonstrating an increasing desire for luxury real estate in the area.
The nearly 6,500-square-foot house has a light-filled open floor plan, high ceilings, a statement wood wall in the living area, a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and a master bedroom suite with a spa-like bathroom and two walk-in closets. Outside, there’s a large pool, plenty of room for outdoor gathering and dining, and a separate guest house with a recording studio that Oladipo installed during his ownership.
Oladipo, 31, paid $7.75 million for the modern mansion in the spring of 2021. He played two seasons for the Miami Heat before being moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder in July. The selling of the home has nothing to do with his career. Hibiscus Island inhabitants have access to a waterfront park, tennis and basketball facilities, playgrounds, and 24-hour security.
The property’s buyer has not been revealed.
