The loan transfer of Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United, to Eintracht Frankfurt is “99.9% done,” according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, who exclusively gives GIVEMESPORT intimate information on the Old Trafford agreement.

The midfielder is scheduled to leave the Red Devils on an initial loan arrangement that will run through the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season because Erik ten Hag has been unable to find a regular role for him in his squad.

Van van Beek hopes to restart his career in the Bundesliga after being dissatisfied with his lack of influence at the Theatre of Dreams for little over three years. United States enters the winter transfer window of 2024 with a losing record in the Premier League and having already qualified out of Europe after placing last in their Champions League group.

In September 2020, Manchester United announced that van de Beek would join the team from Ajax for a potential £39 million price. The 26-year-old, who attracted the interest of some of the biggest names in European football while playing in Amsterdam, inked a five-year deal at Old Trafford.

Van van Beek’s outstanding performances during Ajax’s historic run to the Champions League semifinals in the 2018–19 season initially drew notice from around the continent. Despite rumors of interest from all across Europe, the Dutchman stayed with the Eredivisie giants for another season before joining United, which was then led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The midfield player struggled to establish a regular spot in the team despite scoring a goal in his debut against Crystal Palace. The transfer expert verified that a verbal agreement had been reached for van de Beek to sign with Frankfurt three days later. The agreement calls for a loan move through June along with a €15 million (£13 million) purchase option. Although a permanent agreement is not required, Man Utd will receive a loan payment from the 2022 Europa League champions.

Having failed to translate his form from the Netherlands to England, this might be the first step toward van de Beek’s exit from the Premier League. The reports are supported by Romano’s recent insistence, as reported by GIVEMESPORT on December 3, that van de Beek will be the next Manchester United player to depart.
