My roots were created in the narrow alleys, running and playing soccer naked on the field, and I am very proud of where I am and, more importantly, where I have been!

Knowing that this struggle began with my parents, who raised me and my brothers with great dignity in an area where many saw few opportunities, but I am living proof that I was born, raised, and survived to experience the happiest time of my life!

That is what favelas are all about: learning, witnessing the light in everyone’s eyes when they witness something remarkable, and I am one of those individuals! I was and still am a proud resident of a favela and a dreamer.

I’ve faced numerous problems and difficulties throughout my life, but I’ve never given up on my dream. I worked hard in the gym and dedicated myself to my football career. And now I’m standing on Old Trafford, wearing the shirt of Manchester United, one of the world’s best clubs.

I am aware that I represent many individuals in the favela, and I hope to inspire other young people to realize that their goals are limitless. I want to tell my story to demonstrate that it doesn’t matter where you come from as long as you have the drive and commitment to make your ambitions a reality.

The favela taught me patience, camaraderie, and self-control. I will never forget my beginnings or the people who have joined me on this trip. I’d like to thank my family, friends, and everyone who has believed in and supported me.

I will continue to conquer new milestones and carry the pride of the favela to the international stage with appreciation and commitment. I am confident that my drive and consistent efforts will help me achieve tremendous success in the future.

I want to encourage any young people who are struggling to never give up on their aspirations. Always think that no matter how difficult life is, you can overcome it and achieve great things. And Manchester United is the destination of ambitions and hopes for me.

My trip is still long, and there will be more challenges ahead. But I feel that with patience, effort, and a never-say-die attitude, I can do everything I set my mind to. I will continue to work and develop myself in order to become the best player possible and to bring joy to my fans and teammates.
