The European Union of Football Associations (UEFA) President, Aleksander Ceferin, commented on the European Court of Justice’s verdict on the European Football Super League. The court found UEFA’s monopoly on European club soccer to be unconstitutional.
“We will not attempt to obstruct the Super League’s creators.” They are free to create whatever they choose. They should start their tournament with both clubs soon. “Football is not for sale,” said Alexander Ceferin, according to ESPN.
Only the project’s initiators, Barcelona and Real Madrid, have stated their intention to participate in the Super League.
The Super League is anticipated to have 64 clubs. The launch date is set for 2025.
