‘Positive energy is contagious’ – Man United players attended Disabled Supporters’ Association’s annual dinner at Old Trafford

Antony, a Manchester United winger, says he is reaping the advantages of four starts in our previous five games and intends to add more throughout the holiday season.

The Brazilian forward has been working hard for the squad during a difficult stretch of games, and he appears to be improving with each performance.

Antony and the Reds are now preparing for Saturday’s Premier League match at West Ham United, followed by the much-anticipated Boxing Day showdown at Old Trafford versus Aston Villa.

In our ‘Christmas in the Favelas’ chat, the 23-year-old begins by addressing his current form and blossoming rhythm.

“Firstly, I’m really pleased with this run of games,” says Antony.

“I was training very hard towards this, and it is a consequence of that work at training. I’m really happy with this run and hope to help and contribute to the team even more.”

Asked if work ethic and spirit are important traits to him, Antony continues: “Absolutely, this positive energy is contagious across the whole team.

“I don’t like losing, not even in stone, paper, scissors. This is my spirit. I’ve always been this way and will continue doing it to lift the team up with me and spread this energy.”

The former Ajax man finishes by sharing this personal message to United fans, ahead of the festive period: “I would like to wish you all a happy Christmas, God bless you and your families.
