Man Utd interested in signing “one-man army” who could replace Casemiro

Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane, Casemiro, and Jadon Sancho have all been declared available for transfer next month, according to The Daily Mail. John Murtough, the club’s football director, has reportedly been to Saudi Arabia to court possible suitors.

Erik ten Hag will have to search for a suitable successor if the defensive midfielder for the Red Devils leaves in the upcoming weeks. It is reported that the player has received an offer from an unidentified team in that country.

Amadou Onana of Everton, who is 22 years old and has emerged as Sean Dyche’s second-best-performing defensive player thus far this season (WhoScored – Everton statistics), looks to have been mentioned as a potential possibility.

At six feet three, Onana’s height adds an entirely new dimension to the middle of the field. Not only is he skilled at winning individual battles in the air, but he also enjoys getting into challenges to try to regain possession for his team in the Premier League.

The Dakar native can also be effective on the other side of the ball. Since joining Everton last summer, he has scored three goals and contributed the same amount of assists. Ten Hag’s target is also a versatile player who has been used in five different positions since entering the professional ranks. He can play center forward, center back, or three roles in the midfield, among other positions, so he can offer excellent cover in other areas of the field.

Onana is a “one-man army,” according to football talent scout Jacek Kulig, because of all the things he can do at once. If the board can close this
