Lupita Nyong’o purchases a multimillion-dollar property to live in with her wealthy partner Selema “Sal” Masekela.
Lupita Nyong’o has made her relationship with Selema “Sal” Masekela public, and the couple appears to have taken the next step by purchasing a property in Los Angeles together. They recently purchased a sprawling mansion in Topanga Canyon for a whopping $4.5 million.
Lupita Nyong’o and Selema “Sal” Masekela’s new home, custom-built in 2014, combines modern amenities with sustainable living. This 4,296-square-foot home is situated on a large 2.4-acre property with plenty of solitude. The house is hidden behind a secure steel-gated driveway at the end of a quiet one-way street.
To reduce its environmental footprint, the facility was developed with solar-powered systems, automation features, and advanced filtration systems in mind.
The interior features floor-to-ceiling glass panels that provide stunning views of the ocean, wide hills, and the gorgeous Topanga Canyon. The living area is both warm and luxurious, with a fireplace and glass doors that lead onto a balcony, allowing inhabitants to take in the scenery. A dining room connects to a wet bar, making it a perfect location for entertaining guests, and it flows effortlessly into a gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops, an eat-in island, bamboo cabinetry, and top-of-the-line equipment.
The upper floor of the property features a master bedroom suite with a soaking tub and a two-person steam shower, creating a tranquil sanctuary within the home. There are two further bedrooms and three bathrooms, providing the couple and their visitors with plenty of living space.
