Losing 0-2 to West Ham, Manchester United continue to ‘break records’ under Erik ten Hag

Man United’s dismal performance is being embarrassed by the fact that they have lost more games before Christmas than they have in any season since 1930 and that they have gone more than 30 years without scoring a goal.

Under Erik ten Hag’s direction, Manchester United keeps setting records. Regretfully, they have nothing to be proud of on these records.

At the London Stadium on Saturday, the Red Devils’ miserable season continued with a 2-0 loss to West Ham, with goals coming from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus in the second half.

Due to the outcome, United is now eight points behind Tottenham in fourth place in the standings.

The statistics are even more depressing than the table itself, which presents a quite bleak picture.

Manchester United Overview

More games than Ten Hag’s squad has lost before Christmas in any campaign since 1930 have been lost in all competitions thus far this season.

Not since 1989 has their loss on Saturday also marked their 20th of the current calendar year.

For the fourth straight game, the goal-starved giants were likewise blanked. The last time that occurred was in 1992.

Manchester United Overview

They haven’t scored in 336 football minutes at this point. It comes to less than seven hours.

Actually, Kudus, the goal scorer for West Ham, has scored six goals in the Premier League this season—more than the entire United attacking group has (4 goals).
