Man United’s dismal performance is being embarrassed by the fact that they have lost more games before Christmas than they have in any season since 1930 and that they have gone more than 30 years without scoring a goal.

Under Erik ten Hag’s direction, Manchester United keeps setting records. Regretfully, they have nothing to be proud of on these records.

Not since 1989 has their loss on Saturday also marked their 20th of the current calendar year.

For the fourth straight game, the goal-starved giants were likewise blanked. The last time that occurred was in 1992.
