They defeated the Sacramento Kings 144-119 on Tuesday. They defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 145-108 on Saturday.

The two-time All-Star finished 8-12 from the field and 4-6 from three, with six rebounds and six assists.

Holiday scored 20 points for the first time as a Celtic on Wednesday against Sacramento. He also came close to a triple-double that night. He then put on another spectacular performance, scoring 74 points with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Following the victory, the former UCLA Bruin discussed how playing with Boston’s star combination makes his life simpler on the floor.

“I think with this type of talent, it just makes the game easier,” Holiday told ESPN. “These guys have high IQs and high character, and the way they play the game makes it so much easier for me.” When JT and JB are out there, the greatest guards or guys are usually on them, leaving me wide open.”

The Celtics were missing Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum due to ankle ailments on both Saturday against the Clippers and Wednesday against the Kings. Holiday has got the opportunity to make his stamp on Boston’s attack, and his comfort level has grown with each game.

“I think just consistently or constantly trying to be aggressive, find my spots to kind of look for my shot and play-make,” he went on to say. “Even before them being out, the coaching staff and Joe (Mazzulla) told me that I need to be aggressive, so, really just trying to find my place.”

The Celtics will play the Los Angeles Lakers in a highly anticipated Christmas Day game on ABC at 5 p.m. EST.
