Ethan Zubak suddenly joined the club playing in the second-tier USL Championship

Orange County SC is thrilled to announce forward Ethan Zubak’s signing for the 2024 USL Championship season. Zubak becomes the Black and Orange’s sixth player from Southern California for the 2017 season.

The 25-year-old Corona, California native most recently played in the MLS for Nashville SC. Zubak played in 27 games across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He also appeared in two MLS Next Pro matches for Huntsville City FC, Nashville’s MLS Next Pro team.

“I’m excited to be joining Orange County SC and coming back to my home in Southern California,” Zubak said in a statement. “I’m hoping that this will be a big year for both the team and, more importantly, for myself.” My objective as a forward is to score goals, get assists, and be a playmaker, but I also want to have a constructive impact on the team in order to win games and competitions.”

Zubak began his career with the Los Angeles Galaxy before moving to Nashville. He made 41 first-team appearances for the Galaxy in all competitions, scoring three goals and assisting one.

Zubak also played 105 times for Los Dos in the USL Championship, where he shared the field with attacker Cameron Dunbar and defense Owen Lambe. Zubak has shown to be a goal scorer in the USL Championship, where he has 27 goals and six assists.
