Messi, known for his lethal ability in front of goal, chose to thank those who endured the brunt of his abilities: goalkeepers. The renowned Argentine attacker had an unrivaled career at Barcelona, shattering numerous records. However, it was his 644th goal for the club that created a new standard, breaking Pele’s previous record at Santos.

To honor this, Messi collaborated with Budweiser to create a one-of-a-kind set of personalized Christmas gifts for goalkeepers who had failed to stop him from scoring. Each goalie received personalized beer bottles, the quantity of which equated to the number of goals Messi had scored against them.

Diego Alves, who formerly played for Valencia, led this list, conceding 21 goals to Messi. Iker Casillas, the great Real Madrid goalkeeper, came in second with 17 bottles.

Notably, 22 of these goalkeepers were Premier League players. Lionel Messi’s unusual list included goalkeepers such as Thibaut Courtois, David de Gea, Petr Cech, Edwin Van der Sar, and Joe Hart. They were each given a different number of bottles to signify the goals they gave up to the Argentine legend.
