According to a recent rumor, Manchester United has stated their position on Mason Greenwood’s potential comeback.

Greenwood was suspended by United throughout the previous season as the team looked into his behavior internally.

The player had witnessed the charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault resulting in actual bodily damage be dismissed after a crucial witness withdrew.

After their inquiry was completed, United declared in a statement that Greenwood would never play for the team again. On transfer deadline day, he was sent on a season-long loan to the Spanish team Getafe, with his home club paying for his salary.
