Alejandro Garnacho with his new Nike Mercurial boots that are inspired by the boots worn by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008

Garnacho donned the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 ‘Future DNA’ boots in matchweek four of the Premier League. These boots were designed in the same fashion as the original Nike Suprefly boots that Ronaldo doused in his 2009 Champions League match against Arsenal.

Garnacho donned a unique CR7 Sporting Lisbon jersey on September 1 and purchased Vapor 13 ‘Future DNA’ shoes on his own in anticipation of the September 3 match against Arsenal.

Garnacho scored for MU within four minutes of entering the game off the substitute; however, the goal was subsequently ruled offside. A recognition of this goal would have significantly enhanced the experience for Garnacho and served as a fitting homage to his hero, Cristiano Ronaldo.

These boots are not being donned by Garnacho for the first time. Garnacho has also donned the boots with the junior team of Manchester United on multiple occasions. Even more, he possesses a custom Vapor 13 ‘Future DNA’ in which the crimson hue has been altered to brown.
