Lionel Messi is still gathering his pals at Inter Miami. Following in the footsteps of Luis Suárez, David Beckham’s club is considering recruiting Argentine defender Marcos Rojo from Boca Juniors, according to Olt Sports.
Messi reportedly called Rojo and invited him to join him in the United States.
Palmeiras of Brazil, in addition to Inter Miami, is interested in signing Rojo.
Boca Juniors skipper Rojo has only appeared in 16 matches this season due to injuries. His deal with the Argentine club runs out in December 2025.
Rojo has played for Manchester United, Sporting Lisbon, Estudiantes, and Spartak Moscow during his career. He has featured in 61 appearances for Argentina and scored three goals.
