PHOTO GALLERY: Mason Mount steps up his recovery from injury

Mason Mount, a Manchester United midfielder, has resumed grass training at Carrington as he works his way back from an injury.

The England international has been out since the Premier League victory against Luton Town on November 11, and he is continuing to work hard on his rehabilitation with the help of medical personnel.

In a sign of his recent progress, the 24-year-old forward was photographed practicing alone on Wednesday morning while the rest of his teammates were recovering nearby.

Erik ten Hag’s weekly press conference on Friday may include an update on Mason’s progress.

Last week, the manager revealed that Mason and two other absentees, Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez, may possibly return in January.

Mount has made the most of his downtime by participating in a variety of community-based activities.

Our number seven has donated to the ‘Together For Short Lives’ charity, and he astonished residents at Timperley Nursing Home last week by joining them for an early Christmas supper.
