Aerial picture of the villa Mike Tyson invested in order to achieve the requirements for rearing his large cat: Swimming pool with expansive lawn

Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion, paid $2.5 million for this basic Las Vegas home in 2015. Despite winning over $400 million in his boxing career, Tyson struggled financially and declared bankruptcy in 2003, owing $23 million. He allegedly spent his money on multiple homes, vehicles, diamonds, and even tigers as pets.

Tyson’s house is located in Henderson, Nevada, not far from the well-known Las Vegas Strip. It has six bedrooms and seven baths and covers 10,400 square feet. The home, which sits on over an acre of land in the upscale Seven Hills region, features two casitas, one of which is a completely functional apartment.

Two spectacular master suites, one on the first and one on the second floors, a wine cellar, and a media room are among the luxurious interior amenities. A spa, an outdoor kitchen, a disappearing-edge pool, and a covered patio for entertaining round out the amenities.

This Italian-style property has floor to ceiling windows, arched entrances, coffered ceilings, stone fireplaces, marble flooring, and a marble staircase. Though magnificent, the residence does not reflect Tyson’s past extravagant lifestyle, which included the purchase of many houses.

Tyson still has a huge estate when compared to ordinary American homes, so boosting the rent is certainly a prudent financial decision, especially given the great demand for real estate in the Greater Brisbane area.

Tyson recently made headlines again after an altercation on an airplane. Despite his previous struggles, the former boxing champion has maintained his Las Vegas apartment and is still well-known in the sports community.
