What a shame! Lisandro Martinez bluntly criticized a Manchester United player

‘The Butcher’ is the spiritual heartbeat of this Manchester United club, and his influence on how Erik ten Hag’s side defends and uses control of the ball is significant.

Martinez is nearing a recovery, and he told club media last week, “I am really good, I am really good, honestly.” My rehabilitation is progressing as planned, and I am feeling strong.”

Lisandro Martinez ‘gets it’ when it comes to representing Manchester United, despite only having been with the club for one full season.

He understands what it means to play for the club and spoke about it throughout his interview, which summed up his enthusiasm for being a Manchester United player.

“I think it’s really important to remember where you started,” Martinez said. Wow. We’re discussing it, and I’m experiencing a range of feelings. As a result, it is really significant to me.”

“You must be appreciative. Look at this location, at the badge, at the stadium, at the people, at the fans, at the enthusiasm. You just need to fight for your people; you must fight for everyone.

“It is about millions and millions of people, not just you.” We must be humble. Put your feet on the ground and keep going, going, going. There will be no more excuses.”

Lisandro Martinez’s remarks embarrassed one club player in particular, wantaway winger Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has practically retired from Manchester United, refusing to apologize to manager Erik ten Hag for a social media outburst.

Sancho has not played a single minute for the team since August, despite warnings that he is ‘destroying his career,’ and is training alone.

Martinez says, ‘No excuses, and that’s it,’ yet Sancho has found one.

The defender says he is ‘grateful’ for the opportunity and plans to ‘fight for the supporters’. Where has all of this been in Sancho’s mind?
