Manchester City star Jack Grealish’s home was broken into just two days after Christmas Day, while he was playing in the win against Everton.
On Wednesday night, police rushed to Grealish’s house, and a helicopter was called in to look for the burglars. According to reports, the robbers were able to flee with stuff worth a large sum of money.
Grealish played the entire game as City rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Everton 3-1 on Wednesday night. He was apparently informed of the robbery just after the last whistle, and he immediately returned home.
No one was hurt in the event, according to a source. Over the course of Wednesday night and Thursday, police personnel and forensics were called in to search the area around the estate. Cheshire Police issued a call for information after confirming that they were investigating.
“On Wednesday, December 27, around 9.50 p.m., police were called to reports of a burglary.” “A number of items were reported stolen by the caller,” the force stated in a statement.
“Officers were supported by police dogs and the National Police Air Service, and searches were conducted in the surrounding area, but there was no trace of the suspects.”
“At this time, no arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.” Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact Cheshire Police.”
