On Wednesday night, Raiders attacked the England midfielder’s Cheshire home when he was playing for treble winners City against Everton.

His family and fiancee, Sasha Atwood, were on the property at the time and phoned 911 when they heard a disturbance.

The burglars allegedly seized £1 million in jewelry and watches, and authorities are still investigating.

“At around 9.50pm on Wednesday 27 December, police were called to reports of a burglary,” a Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman said. According to the caller, a lot of things had been stolen.”

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola expressed satisfaction that no one was wounded.

During a press conference, Guardiola stated, “Fortunately, nothing bad happened where the family was inside.”

“It is what it is today in modern times, with many things going on.” It was a terrible time for him and his family, but the people inside were safe.”

Khi nào Erling Haaland mới trở lại thi đấu cho Man City?

City will be without striker Erling Haaland and playmaker Kevin De Bruyne against the struggling Blades, with defender John Stones the most recent addition to the injury list.

After missing six games due to a foot injury, Haaland has yet to return to full training, and De Bruyne’s comeback is too soon.

Stones left Goodison Park in midweek with an ankle injury and will be out for several weeks.

“Nothing has changed,” Guardiola responded when asked about player availability. “We have the same injuries plus John Stones.”

The Blades are still at the bottom of the table after a difficult return to the top division following their promotion last season, but they have put in some encouraging performances since Chris Wilder took over as manager.

Guardiola expects a difficult afternoon after his squad triumphed 3-1 against Everton in their first Premier League game in seven.

“We’ve always had problems against Sheffield,” he went on to say.

“They put in an outstanding performance against Aston Villa.” They were on the approach of a victory.

“It will be extremely difficult, similar to Crystal Palace.” We haven’t been able to produce results at home in the last few games, so we’ll try to keep focused on what we need to do.”

City will play their final game in 2023, after winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, European Super Cup, and Club World Cup that year.

When asked to summarize the previous year, Guardiola said, “Not bad at all.” Not bad at all. It could always be better, but don’t expect too much. It was incredible.”
