Jesse Lingard of England sold his five-bedroom estate for £3.25 million after robbers stole $100,000 in jewelry and clothing during a house raid.
The 29-year-old offensive midfielder was last targeted when he played for Manchester United against Aston Villa on January 15, last season.
Burglars stole jewelry, clothes, and other stuff from his home in lush Bowdon, Greater Manchester, where the average house price is about £900,000.
Lingard was targeted just days before robbers snatched his former Manchester United teammate Victor Lindelof during a match between the Red Devils and Brentford on January 19.

‘He merely wants to get rid of it following the break-in,’ a source told The Sun. He liked the house but didn’t feel comfortable afterward, especially since he has a young kid.’
During the pandemic, he showed off his lavish five-bedroom home in an episode of MTV Cribs, leading the cameras to his dressing area, where he keeps his clothing, 28 caps, and 96 pairs of trainers.
In the attack on his home in affluent Bowdon, Greater Manchester, where the average property price is around £900,000, burglars stole jewelry, clothes, and costly stuff.
Lingard explained the significance of the room, stating that gazing at the hats each morning puts him in a good mindset for the day ahead.
He was proud of his fashionable outfit, which included suits and a henley jacket.
The property included a swimming pool, a movie room, and an outstanding outdoor play area with a climbing frame and swing for his one-year-old daughter.

During the lockdown, the footballer practiced with his garden goal, but he is now back in training with the rest of his teammates in preparation for the Premier League’s return later this month.

He informed reporters that he could have moved elsewhere for “a lot of money,” but he choose to stay in the Premier League.
