Netflix’s new six-episode docuseries gives viewers an inside look at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Mbappe is in one of the episodes.

It also has thoughts from England star Harry Kane, former Wales international Gareth Bale, and Danish coach Simon Kjaer.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward was asked about Messi and Ronaldo during the show. Messi led Argentina to victory at the World Cup last year.

In an interesting point of view, he said that Messi and Ronaldo are better players than him, but he always thinks he’s the best.

“Cristiano and Messi are better than me, but I always tell myself I’m the best,” he said on his X account, @ManagingBarca.

Messi and Ronaldo have won both individual and team awards with their clubs and countries, but Mbappe hasn’t been able to do as well yet.

They have won a total of 13 Ballon d’Ors and have also won league wins in England, Spain, France, and Italy, as well as the Champions League and international titles.

But Mbappe has helped France win world titles after they won the World Cup in 2018.

Earlier this year, he was asked if he could create a competition between him and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, like Messi vs. Ronaldo.

“The way things are read should be changed. It only happens once every fifty years or more for two players to be at such high levels for such a long time, he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“This was a great time in history, and I hope the fans enjoyed it.” I got to play against Cristiano and then with and against Leo. They are both very special. Most of what I learned from them I learned from Messi in these two seasons.

“They wrote the history of football: they are eternal.”
