Manchester City presented all of the trophies they won in 2023 before of their season finale against Sheffield United at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City’s most notable year was 2023, when they became only the second club in England, after rival Manchester United, to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and FA Cup. They also won the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
The defending Premier League champions face Sheffield United for the final time this season on Saturday, with all five trophies on display at Etihad Stadium prior to kickoff.
The Cityzens had a difficult start to their title defense, with three defeats and four draws in the 2023/24 season. A victory over Sheffield United, on the other hand, would move them into third place in the league, two points behind champions Liverpool.
The Sky Blues earned additional boost ahead of the new year as talismanic midfielder Kevin De Bruyne returned to their matchday squad for the first time in four months on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s club currently leads The Blades by two goals and would like to maintain that lead to cap off a successful season. On January 7, they will face Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup third round.
