Nottingham Forest defeated Manchester United for the first time in 29 years with a 2-1 victory at the City Ground on Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, Nicolas Dominguez and compatriot Gonzalo Montiel teamed to open the scoring.
Matt Turner, the Forest goalkeeper, was uneasy and eventually succumbed to Man United’s siege when he fumbled a pass into the path of Alejandro Garnacho, who found Marcus Rashford to finish the play.
Turner made a fantastic save minutes later to redeem himself, and Morgan Gibbs-White scored with a stinging strike from the edge of the box 17 seconds later.
Forest held out for a crucial three points, lifting them five points above the relegation zone, while United missed out on a chance to move up to sixth place.
