Heavyweight boxing star Mike Tyson bought this very simple Las Vegas home for $2.5 million in 2015. Tyson won more than $400 million in fighting, but he had a hard time with money and filed for bankruptcy in 2003, owing $23 million. He is said to have spent a lot of money on many homes, cars, jewelry, and even tigers as pets.
Tyson’s home is in Henderson, Nevada, not far from the famous Las Vegas Strip. It has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and is 10,400 square feet in size. The property is on more than an acre of land and is in the fancy Seven Hills neighborhood. It has two casitas, and one of them is a fully working apartment.
The inside is very fancy, with a wine cellar, a media room, and two beautiful master beds, one on the first floor and one on the second. The property also has a spa, an outdoor bar, a pool with a disappearing edge, and a covered patio for parties.
This home is in the Italian style and has floor-to-ceiling windows, arched entrances, coffered ceilings, stone fireplaces, marble floors, and a marble stairs, among other things. Even though the house is beautiful, it doesn’t look like Tyson’s old, wealthy lifestyle, where he bought several homes.
Tyson still has a big farm compared to most American homes, so raising the rent is probably the best way to save money, especially since there is a lot of demand for homes in the Greater Brisbane area.
Tyson was in the news again lately after getting into a fight on an airplane. The former boxing king still lives in Las Vegas and is well-known in the sports world, despite the problems he had in the past.
