The Thunder’s winning run now stands at five games, while the Celtics’ six-game winning streak is over.

Kristaps Porzingis made an apparent corner 3 with less than four seconds remaining, cutting Oklahoma City’s lead to one.

But because Porzingis’ foot was on the line, the shot was deemed a two instead, and the Thunder led 125-123.

After being fouled off the inbounds, Gilgeous-Alexander sank both free throws to all but seal the victory.

Oklahoma City led by 18 with seven minutes remaining but Boston scored 10 straight points, paced by two 3-pointers by Derrick White, to come within eight with five minutes remaining.

However, after White assisted on Jayson Tatum’s alley-oop, Thunder rookie big man Chet Holmgren blasted a catch-and-shoot three from the wing to put an end to the Thunder’s run and stabilize the team.

But Boston fought back, trimming the Thunder’s lead to two points with 41 seconds remaining on another 3-pointer by White. Jalen Williams made a jumper in response, and Oklahoma City nailed four free throws to hold off the Celtics.
