Nicki Minaj has made a commitment to homeownership after renting houses in the greater Los Angeles area, from Beverly Hills to Malibu.
According to property records, the Grammy-winning rapper has moved her renowned “Starships” to the guard-gated community of Hidden Hills in the San Fernando Valley, where she has spent a cool $19.5 million on a brand-new house.
The vast modern farmhouse built this year by a local developer, according to the property agent, sold “before listing on the MLS.” As a result, it was never made available to the general public.
Tax documents show that the approximately 12,000 square foot mansion has eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, which is all we have to go on because no photographs or information about the house are available.
In the backyard, there is a saltwater pool with a Jacuzzi and a Baja shelf for sunbathing, as well as a separate guesthouse. The one-acre level site includes a three-car garage, lush gardens, and plenty of screening plants.
The master bedroom on the second floor has its own balcony with a view of the backyard, while the remainder of the home features pocketing glass doors that lead to numerous patios and terraces.
Minaj prefers spacious mansions. The singer, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago and is now 40 years old, and her husband currently live in a rented mansion on a hill in Calabasas, one of the city’s numerous secure communities.
Although it is expected that Minaj, Petty, and their entourage will soon move into their new and even more extravagant Hidden Hills mansion, the one they currently reside in was built in the Mediterranean style in the 1990s and has more than 10,000 square feet of living space, marble flooring, six bedrooms, and nine bathrooms.
