It is said that Jadon Sancho is ready to leave his nightmare at Manchester United and return on loan to Borussia Dortmund.
The England player, who went to Old Trafford for £75 million ($95 million) in the summer of 2021, hasn’t played much in the 2023–24 season. Erik ten Hag said that Sancho was letting standards drop in training, so he hasn’t played for United since August 26 and has had to work in the Red Devils’ school.
Bild says that a way out has been found in the January trade window. It is said that Sancho will be going back to Germany on a short-term deal that will cost Dortmund only £2.6m. This will allow the 23-year-old to start his professional career in a place he is familiar with.
Some people think that a few small tax issues need to be resolved before Sancho can leave Manchester United. He could join Dortmund at their winter training camp in Marbella on Friday, before they play AZ Alkmaar in a friendly on Saturday.
Before coming to United, Sancho scored 12 goals and set up 6 others in 82 games for Dortmund, where he played 137 times and scored 50 goals and set up 64 others. He came off the bench three times at the beginning of this season, but he has been out of the team ever since.
