The star player from Al-Nassr went back home to open the facility before Senegal’s camp for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

A year ago, the former Liverpool star was seen playing on a dirty field in Bambali. He had just come back from a season in Europe.

As seen on social media, Mane kept his word and was joined by important people in society to give the stadium to the people of Bambali in a beautiful ceremony.

Once a Black Stars forward, Odartey Lamptey said, “Ghana will surprise everyone at AFCON 2023.”

He told them, “I am really very happy to be with you today and to welcome you to my home, to my native village of Bambali, where it all began.”

“I stand here in front of you on this FIFA-standard football field, which means a lot to me, with great pride and joy in my heart.” This isn’t just a present for the town I love. Most of all, it’s a sign of how united, strong, and passionate we are about sports.
