Karim Benzema to help Manchester United’s offense?

As Manchester United continue to struggle offensively, former player Louis Saha believes the Red Devils can significantly improve their striking ability by signing Karim Benzema from Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad.

Saha believes that Benzema’s hitting skills would improve Manchester United by providing much-needed knowledge, which would also benefit Hojlund, who would learn from the French star’s techniques.

“He [Benzema] will shake up the United frontline, and that’s exactly what they need,” Saha explained to BettingOdds.com. He will surely score goals and develop his link-up play […] he is the type of striker Hojlund will learn from, but it is a fantasy.

“It’s the right club for him [Hojlund], but giving him sole responsibility for the number nine position without an experienced player around him is unfair.” There are talented wingers and offensive midfielders, but being a striker necessitates a distinct attitude.

“You need someone to show you box runs […] the Premier League is a tough league for stuff like that.” I played alongside [Ruud] Van Nistelrooy and [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer. “I had the opportunity to learn my runs and skills from those legends,” he said.
