Alejandro Garnacho has responded to a Manchester City supporter who attempted to troll him in the DMs on Instagram.
Garnacho was a member of the Manchester United team that lost the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium to bitter rivals City last season.
Pep Guardiola’s men won 2-1 thanks to two goals from Ilkay Gundogan.
Garnacho was observed sitting on the field after the final whistle, clearly despondent, while City celebrated their victory.
One City supporter recently claimed on social media that he gave Garnacho photographs of Gundogan’s final goal, the Argentine’s full-time response, and the City team holding the Cup.
“Garnacho responds, it’s so good, it’s so good,” a City fan exclaimed.
“Not only have I interrupted his day and sent him Gundo scoring, him crying at Wembley, City win the FA Cup, it gets better he’s come back crying his eyes out.”
Garnacho’s apparent answer to the fan was: “No bro, not cool, maybe you should learn your respect and not send me things like this.”
The video has already gone viral on social media, with one Manchester United fan commenting, “During the time you took to make this tiktok, he has made your daily wage 3x over.”
Garnacho’s response to that tweet was two crying laughter emojis.
Garnacho will be preparing for United’s FA Cup third-round match against Wigan, which takes place on Monday night.
Manager Erik ten Hag stated ahead of the game, “So in the cup, it’s always do or die, and you have to be ready.” When playing against Manchester United, an opponent will always give their all, but especially when playing in the FA Cup versus Manchester United.
“As a result, we must be prepared to meet them. So we have the assumption that we will win every game.”
