Alejandro Garnacho has responded to a Manchester City fan who tried to troll him in the Instagram DMs.
Garnacho was a member of Manchester United’s FA Cup final loss to bitter rivals City at Wembley Stadium last season.
Ilkay Gundogan scored twice to help Pep Guardiola’s team win 2-1.
Garnacho was seen sitting on the pitch after the game, apparently depressed, as City celebrated their triumph.
One City fan recently claimed on social media that he sent Garnacho photos of Gundogan’s winning goal, the Argentine’s full-time reaction, and the City players clutching the Cup.
“Garnacho responds, it’s so good, it’s so good,” cried a City fan.
“Not only have I interrupted his day and sent him Gundo scoring, him crying at Wembley, City win the FA Cup, it gets better he’s come back crying his eyes out.”
Garnacho’s obvious response to the fan was, “No bro, not cool, maybe you should learn your respect and stop sending me things like this.”
The video has already gone viral on social media, with one Manchester United fan saying, “During the time you took to make this tiktok, he has made your daily wage 3x over.”
Garnacho responded with two sobbing laughter emojis to that message.
Garnacho will be preparing for United’s FA Cup third-round tie against Wigan on Monday night.
Before the game, manager Erik ten Hag commented, “So in the cup, it’s always do or die, and you have to be ready.” An opponent will always give their all while playing against Manchester United, but especially when playing in the FA Cup against Manchester United.
“As a result, we need to be ready to meet them.” So we’re assuming that we’ll win every game.”
