Jordan Henderson wants to RETURN to England after moving to Saudi Arabia in the summer

Jordan Henderson is eager to return to the Premier League, which is a sudden choice that will cost him a lot of money in lost wages and taxes.

The England center star has had a hard time getting used to his new life since moving from Liverpool to Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia for £12 million last summer. Any offers that come in this month will be carefully thought over by the club.

Henderson is having more trouble because of Al Ettifaq’s bad play. So, the owners have put a lot of pressure on boss Steven Gerrard to get the team back on track after eight straight losses that started in November.

Ian Foster, who was the assistant manager at the team in Dammam, quit last week to become the manager of Plymouth Argyle. This is another sign that things aren’t going well there.

Henderson agreed to move to Saudi Arabia last summer, which was an unexpected move that hasn’t gone as planned by Gerrard and Foster, who used to work for the FA and started teaching at Liverpool’s Academy.

The 33-year-old has had a hard time getting used to a new way of life and the playing field’s extreme heat and humidity. Also, the fact that only 7,800 people have been to each of his games this season at a field that can hold 35,000 is not a good sign.

He has also had a hard time because people didn’t like the fact that he moved to Saudi Arabia at first, which was seen as betraying the LGBTQ+ community.

Henderson may have told his teammates that he was thinking about his choices before taking a short break during the Saudi Professional League’s winter break.

If the Premier League made him an attractive offer, he might take a big pay cut and write off millions in taxes because he is so unhappy with his job. However, he would have to take a big pay cut because many clubs are having a hard time following the rules for spending in the top flight.

Henderson makes an amazing £700,000 a week at Al Ettifaq, but the tax-free part of his pay only starts to show up if he stays with the company for the full two years of his deal.
