Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford was pulled down on double yellows outside a jeweller in Cheshire on Saturday night while signing a teenage fan’s shirt.

Tyrell Malacia, Rashford’s teammate who vacationed in Miami with him this summer, accompanied the 26-year-old Rashford, who was clad in a green tracksuit and white trainers.

“Marcus spent about 20 minutes in the jewellery store during his visit, which was closed to all other customers,” a person who witnessed the event said.

He must have bought something because he emerged clutching a bag. The young man was overjoyed to have his autograph and appeared to be overjoyed.

Nonetheless, he should reconsider his parking habits, as he was fortunate not to receive a ticket. But I suppose he can afford to gamble.
