Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate leave fans crying with laughter by their unique way of celebrating

Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate’s funny way of enjoying Liverpool’s first goal in their FA Cup third round win over Arsenal made Gary Lineker laugh. It took the Reds until the very end to pull off a smash-and-grab at the Emirates Stadium. An own goal from Jakub Kiwior and a second goal from Luis Diaz gave the win to the visitors.

Arsenal had most of the chances in the first half, but they missed a few great ones, and Liverpool punished them after the break. Jurgen Klopp’s team got better as the game went on, and with 10 minutes left, Kiwior put a Liverpool corner kick into his own net, giving them the lead.

While celebrating, some Liverpool players ran over to the away end to join their fans there. A few fans even made their way onto the field to join in. One poor fan got hit hard by Nunez, who jumped on top of the group and hit the man on the top of the head several times.

The next player to rush in was Konate. The Frenchman took the fan’s hat off and threw it back into the away end. Lineker replied to the strange events by posting a video of what happened on social media along with three smiling emojis.

Liverpool had one more reason to celebrate before the game was over. Diaz scored in extra time to seal the win and knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup. After the game, Konate told BBC Sport, “Yes, I am really happy, but I think the man of the match was all of the team.” He was full of praise for his teammates.

“I’m glad. We’ll be back for the next round. Yes, of course I’m pleased. We love playing so many games, even though it’s hard. It was done two years ago, and we won two cups. I hope things are different this season [win more]. “Hope all goes well.”
