On the field, Andre Onana may not be great enough for Manchester United right now, but off the field, Onana has a long history of getting other people ahead. His goal in starting his own charity was to help children. He believes that people who haven’t had an easy life should work together to improve their lives.

“I’ve seen up close what many kids in my country go through. “I feel like I need to help them have a better future,” he said.

It is hard to get by in Cameroon if you don’t have parents. It’s even harder if you are blind and don’t have parents. 

That’s why I want to use the André́ Onana Foundation to help blind kids.. 

I know how hard things are for these blind kids in Cameroon, which is why I want to make that little bit of difference. 

It’s better to laugh than to cry.
