Real Madrid Set to Sell Vinicius Jr. Once Mbappe Signing is Complete: Major Transfer Boost for Premier League Clubs

REAL MADRID is reportedly planning to trade Vinicius Jr as soon as Kylian Mbappe joins the club.

The French forward is rumored to have already agreed on a move to the Spanish capital.

Mbappe has six months left on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, allowing him to join international clubs on a free transfer in the summer.

Real Madrid has long admired the World Cup winner and wanted to sign him last summer.

Sport reports that Vinicius Jr. is set to leave the team to make room for Mbappe.

According to the rumor, the Brazilian winger will be sold immediately if Mbappe signs.

President Florentino Perez does not believe the 23-year-old has the profile to be the club’s primary player.

Instead, he would like to make Mbappe Real Madrid’s standout player starting next season, the source said.

The revelation has boosted Premier League teams, including Manchester United, who have been linked with a transfer for Vinicius.

He has previously stated that he would only leave the Bernabeu to return to his former team Flamengo.

In an interview with France Football and L’Equipe last year, he said: “I think I could stay here my entire career, but Flamengo is the club of my life.”

“I told my father I would return one day. I need to keep this pledge.”

Vinicius departed Flamengo at 18 to join Real Madrid for about £40 million in 2018.

He has already scored 69 goals and provided 68 assists in 243 outings for the Spanish powerhouse.

The Brazilian international won the 2022 Champions League final, making it his tenth trophy in Spain.

Despite hamstring and thigh ailments this season, he has already scored ten goals in all competitions and signed a new contract in October until 2027.
