PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN is interested in signing Marcus Rashford, according to sources.
The French club could want to sign Rashford after he held showdown discussions with manager Erik ten Hag.
Marcus Rashford has been linked with a transfer away from Manchester United.
The 26-year-old said he was too ill to work on Friday, but it turned out he had been partying in Belfast the night before.
Rashford then missed the FA Cup match against Newport County, which the Red Devils won 4-2.
PSG had previously expressed interest in the forward before he signed a new five-year deal with Manchester United last summer.
According to the i, the Ligue 1 champions are “tempted” to sign Rashford again at the end of the season.
They do, however, state that United does not intend to trade its local hero.
Rashford is also said to be not looking for a move.
Rashford received a two-week suspension and a £650,000 punishment for his disciplinary infraction last week.
In a subsequent statement, the Red Devils stated: “Marcus has accepted responsibility for his actions.”
“This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.”
Rashford flew to Ireland on Wednesday to see his friend Ro-Shaun Williams, who currently plays for Larne FC after previously being part of United’s academy.
Sarah Adair, 30, a Belfast server, described how she served Rashford lunch before he urged her to join him for a party.
She stated, “I’m not surprised he missed training the next day given how late he went to bed and how much he’d had to drink.” He must have known he wasn’t going to be fit enough to play football.”
Sarah revealed that she had to put Rashford to bed after he drunkenly dropped large sums of money on the floor.
Following United’s victory over Newport, Ten Hag spoke of his No. 10: “He reported ill, and the rest is an internal matter.” As previously stated, we will deal with it.
Rashford met with Sir Dave Brailsford and football director John Murtough at Carrington on Monday, accompanied by his brother and agent Dwaine Maynard.

Last season, the England star scored 30 goals and assisted 11 times.
He has had a more tough year this time around, scoring just four goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.
Ten Hag, 53, reprimanded Rashford about his behavior earlier this season when he was pictured celebrating his birthday at Manchester’s China White nightclub only hours after United’s 3-0 derby loss to City.
The Dutchman responded at the time, “Yes, I am aware of it. I spoke to him about it.
“This is intolerable. I informed him, and he apologised. That was it. For us, it’s an internal issue.”
Speaking on Rashford’s situation, former Manchester United captain Gary Neville told BBC Breakfast: “To me, going out for a drink or a night out is something that any football player would and should do, so I have no problem with it at all. They must enjoy themselves.
“It’s all about choices and timing. Manchester United have returned from their winter break.
I would suggest, go out and have your moment to unwind with your pals, but your timing must be correct.
Gary Neville
“They had a few of weeks free, so there was a better time for him to chose to go away.
“I would suggest, go out and have your moment of relaxation with your pals, but the timing must be appropriate.
“Marcus knows – he’s an experienced player now, so we’re not talking about a young guy – but he’s done it a few times in recent months.
“I’ve always seen Marcus as being very responsible, a decent professional, and someone who works extremely hard every day.
“I know he’s having a dip in form right now, but it’s occurred twice before, and it can sometimes become your personality if you’re not careful.
“If you do it too many times, people will start asking, ‘What’s going on in his life?’
“He just needs to relax, calm down, choose when to go out and get back to playing football at the levels we know he can.”
